caHave you guys sent out your holiday cards yet? We’ve definitely started getting some in the mail from family and friends and it’s just so crazy to see how everyone’s family has grown and great to hear from old friends. We just got our Minted cards in the mail and I couldn’t be more excited with how they turned out! I picked the Winter Botanicals card with GOLD FOIL – because metallic anything always seems to glam things up, am I right? For the back, I chose to use a family photo as well and wrote some updates about our year. This is actually our first time writing an update on our lives on the card, but I thought it would be a nice change of pace. I also got matching liners on the envelope and got them pre-addressed with our address in a matching theme.

With our cards, I wanted to show a cute little holiday card mantel display idea for those of you who need a cute way to hang them! I got some twine and small clothespin and hung the cards and little ornaments on the twine! I would probably not do one piece of twine all the way across the mantel because of the weight, but would split it up between a few strings if that makes sense! And of course, we would normally be hanging OTHER people’s cards, not our own. 😉
