Mommy and Me Fashion
As you probably already know or have seen, Vivian and I own quite a bit of graphic tees… yet they are some of the hardest things to photograph to get the words to show up and not be wrinkled or covered. But what I love about graphic tees is that they can be dressed up or down and they are definitely a base or basic piece in a wardrobe. My shirt, “Stop it, you are amazing” was designed by the girls of Elevate Everyday in collaboration with Cents of Style. It’s a shirt that sends a message to empower others to lift themselves up instead of beating yourself up over the little things. It’s phrases like this that you just need to hear time and time again… especially when times are rough or you are feeling overwhelmed. I just love the meaning behind it. And Vivian’s shirt, well #ootd, you know what that is, it’s probably my top used hashtag on Instagram in all of life.
I paired both our graphic tees with tulle skirts and flats and I think our outfits even look a bit like they would work for the upcoming holidays. When shooting these looks, it was the first time I saw Vivian walk so much, she was having an absolute blast. But her favorite thing is to hold someone’s hand when walking, and I would just like to bottle up that characteristic and save it forever.
