Well you have seen me blog about Nutrimom before and for this post I wanted to talk about their subscription box that comes with their personal nutrition coaching program. For those of you who missed the other posts, Nutrimom is a great personal coaching program designed for expecting and new moms. It’s a program to help moms make informed choices about health and nutrition for themselves and their babies. This subscription box is great because it gives a little sample of some great items for mom and baby. The Breastfeeding & Postnatal Dietary Supplement is one that I actually did not use as I am not nursing anymore, but looking at the ingredients and with the fact that it has DHA, I am sure it is a great supplement for new moms. And the Happy Baby pouches, well my 14 month daughter is pretty much obsessed with them. I just love that it comes in such a great variety of fruits and vegetables and is truly fun for her to sip up herself. She can basically self feed with these pouches and each and every time she finishes them up. Even my son who is almost 4 years old still likes them, haha!
But the Apricot & Cashew Bar with B-Complex is one thing that I did personally try. I must say that those flavors didn’t resonate with me at first, but after tasting it, I actually did like the taste. Looking at the ingredients, it has Vitamin B-Complex, is gluten free, and is made from mostly oats and nuts. As a mom of 2, I can say that these ingredients are very good and safe for most mothers to eat to be able to provide nutrition for their babies if they are still pregnant or nursing. Also it supports physical energy by helping convert food to energy, and we all know pregnant and new moms definitely eat more calories and have less energy overall!
Overall, I would highly recommend the Nutrimom personal nutrition coaching program for pregnant and new moms. My favorite part of it was having a coach that really cared about me and truly wanted to help with my goals. I honestly really wish I had her when I went through my first pregnancy and after I had my son, there was so many unknowns and only so many things that books and the internet can tell you. Having a support system of someone that has gone through similar struggles is what new moms need, seriously! With the phone app, my coach was able to send me articles to read that were relevant to my life, such as nutrition for moms and babies and studies about being active. It’s a great resource right at my fingertips. And finally, the subscription box gives you a sample of some of the products that you can put into you or your kid’s bodies to help you and your kids grow healthier and stronger.
