Mommy + Me Floral Crowns and Pinks

Because it is Spring and I’m obsessed with floral crowns and just all things floral, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do a Mommy + Me floral crown outfit! A couple of weeks ago, one of my favorite daily deal sites called Jane invited me to their Crowned in Spring event! I have to say, being a blogger in Utah is kind of amazing as there are SO many events all the time, like seriously every week!! It’s so hard to say no to them, but I know I have to once in awhile to ensure that I’m not always leaving the house and leaving my husband to take care of 2 kids alone, but I do appreciate the times he does do this so I can go out. 🙂 Anyhow, at the event, the amazing and talented Lizys Lilies taught us how to make our own floral crowns with fresh flowers. I have to admit that I showed up late and she helped me start my crown… which TOTALLY helped me out or else mine would have looked a lot worse, but I’m really happy with how mine turned out!

I didn’t have a chance to make a crown for my little girl, but she had one that was previously handmade by Miss Stevi Marie so I just had her wear that one with me. For her outfit, I decided to stay with a pink and gold/tan theme and hot air balloons!! Her little custom name hot air balloon is from the store Elemenotees and that store has some of the cutest graphic tees ever for your little ones!! And you probably already know my deep love for Sally Sarah Designs dresses, but she also makes bloomers/diaper covers in her whimsical prints too!
