{MEET ASHLEY}
1) Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a full time mommy of two toddlers which keeps me insanely busy and the wife of a truly remarkable man. Mom by day, and designer by night! My husband and I have lived in Tampa, Florida for almost 2 years now and we love it but are ready to pack up and see where life takes us next 🙂 We spent our first years of marriage living in Germany in this little quaint village and I loved it! I loved strolling through the old town and stopping to have a glass of wine in a cafe with maybe some caprese! I’m really laid back and I could totally live in Europe forever. I try my hardest in the craziness of American life to really slow down and enjoy my journey. I love cardigans and cute ballet flats. I’m a simple girl who loves dressing up a t-shirt with pearls and heels. If I’m not at my iMac designing or {blogging} I’m most likely snuggling with my hubby or babies with a nice glass of pinot noir.
2) How did you come up with the name for your blog/shop?
I had a blog while I lived overseas called Judith Shakespeare (after a fictional character in one of Virginia Wolfe’s best pieces: did I mention I graduated with a BA in English, design is my hobby and second love to books :)) and I had a list of my favorite things. On that list was ‘lemon’ and ‘lavender’ and I thought hey that sounds cute for a blog name.
3) Where do you draw inspiration from?
Life inspires me. I know that sounds so cliché but I love looking at ordinary things and seeing the beauty in them.
4) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint Chocolate Chip 🙂
