Do you do advent calendars for your family? We started doing them for the kids when they were younger and it’s been SO fun! And then when Jessie (our Goldendoodle dog) joined our family, she got one too!! I think it’s just a really fun way to look forward to Christmas!!

I’ve rounded up a few different types of advent calendars – a lot are already starting to sell out, so it’s a great time to grab them NOW before the one you want is gone! And we start ours on December 1, do you do the same?

LEGO Advent Calendars I feel like are a very POPULAR choice for advent calendars! They have them for all ages from LEGO Friends to harder ones too.

For Vivian, my 10 year old daughter, I was torn between the Mini Brands, NeeDoh, Slimygoop, Squishmallows one, but Mini Brands is totally her *thing* right now, so that’s the one I will be gifting her!

Austin, my 12 year old, has loved Pokemon for YEARS, and we’ve gotten him the Pokemon Cards one for a few years now… and he may get it again this year.

Whether your kid is in to Bluey or Hello Kitty or Disney, you can probably find an advent calendar for the thing they are in to!!

Beauty advent calendars are so fun for friends, Moms, sisters, or honestly yourself! Sephora always releases some popular ones with a variety of beauty products, but they sell out so fast! Or skincare brands like Colleen Rothschild, Clarins, Lancome, have good ones too! It’s always a great fun way to sample products from a brand that you might be interested in!

In terms of Family advent calendars, we typically just do one for Jessie with dog treats or toys, and it’s fun for the whole family to partake in when getting Jessie excited for it each day! But this year, I am SO excited to gift my kids this Escape Room Advent Calendar! My kids are HUGE fans of real life escape rooms and solving riddles and clues, that I feel like this one is going to be SO fun for them!

But also, I think the puzzle and game advent calendars could be a really cool one for families as well!
