Growing up, I was one of those girls that was had piano practice, played the flute, did ballet, gymnastics, and Chinese folk dance. My mom loved putting me in after school activities, and frankly, I loved it too. Well, sort of, I actually practicing piano and was a little rebel sometimes. So far, I’ve only put Vivian in tumbling class, but as she grows up, I plan to put her in a lot more classes, especially dance and definitely probably an instrument. I wouldn’t consider myself a tiger mom by any means, but the roar might come out once in awhile. 😉
I recently saw a cute band jacket on a little girl in my Instagram feed, and instantly fell in love w/ the style of the jacket. I mean, I used to be 1st chair flute in 7th grade AND I was in the marching band, guess I should have kept all that stuff huh? SO anyways, I scoured the web for a band jacket for Vivian and realized that GAP had released the years ago. Well after a ton of searching, one of the Facebook mamas in a Buy, Sell, Trade group came through and I scored a band jacket in Vivian’s size. So so cute. And then finding an adult one to match her was kind of a feat because so many of them run like $1000 or more, but thank goodness for Zara coming through with an affordable, yet stylish option! So with that, I am bringing you TWO WAYS to style a BAND JACKET for you and your mini me, one dressy and one casual!
