I am teaming up with Old Navy today as part of their #50styles50states campaign to show off Fall fashion – and I am so humbled to be able to represent the state of Utah! We’ve had some 90-100 degree Summer days lately, but slowly and surely, the temps are starting to cool down to 70-80s which means Fall is coming… and then snow soon (but let’s not talk about that yet). My favorite thing about this weather and Fall fashion is being able to layer outfits, it really shows off one’s style and you have so many options for mixing and matching outfits.

I’ve only lived in Utah (specifically around the Salt Lake City area) for 2 years now, but I have to say that living here has definitely shaped my fashion choices. It’s so amazing that you can be driving around and look anywhere, and you are surrounded by the mountains. I took these photos up at Albion Basin, we’ve taken family photos here twice already and taken family hikes up here, it’s one of my favorite spots to visit in Utah! I swear the scenery never gets old. I think people in Utah tend to gravitate towards wearing neutral colors that mimic the colors of the gorgeous mountains that surround our every day life. I love to add either a subtle or bold pop of color to my outfit to personalize my style. For this outfit, I went with this gorgeous black/white/tan floral dress, layered it with a tan cardigan and topped the look off with some great neutral accessories that I know I will be able to wear all through the Fall (and Winter) season.
