Mustard is one of my absolute favorite colors for fall. Maybe because it’s an extension of yellow, which just makes me happy, or maybe because it’s really just a pretty color that borders on golden and reminds me of fall leaves. Vivian’s dress from Czarina’s Project is so stinking cute. I am obsessed with the striped pattern and the shape of those flutter sleeves. Czarina’s Project really continues to blow me away with her designs for her rompers and gorgeous floral crowns too! Part of me didn’t want to cover up the dress, but I knew that more practically, a fur vest makes this dress wearable for fall. Also, I love just accenting her accessories with pops of gold, it’s the perfect neutral that goes with EVERYTHING!
As for me, I just went casual with my fave jeans, flats to match Vivian’s, and a cardigan over a tunic (a little bit of pattern mixing here). I actually probably should not have tucked in the tunic as I think wearing it untucked would have looked better here, but it is what it is! It’s the perfect layered casual look for running errands or just a basic mom outfit (ya know, the outfit you wear at home but also need to look cute for in case you need to run your kids to soccer practice). 😉
