Mommy and me summer dress fashion

I’m still in denial that my baby girl is almost 1 years old, her birthday is THIS MONTH guys. I feel like just yesterday she’d wake up in the middle of the night with her level 3 cries that made us think she would be all sorts of a dramatic baby. Little did we know that she would be the happiest and sweetest little thing, so much so that we still are amazed that she is ours. Our sweet little miss Vivian, her smiles make all 3 of us so so happy and we’re so happy to have her around. Sure, her teeth might be an annoyance to all of us right now, and she will hardly let us put her down to pee or get anything done, but as fleeting as that sweet newborn smell is, soon she’ll be walking around like miss independent and probably won’t want a thing to do with us.

I might say this a lot, but I am seriously in love with these pictures! It might be because Vivian was super smiley and happy during it, despite me getting 100 mosquito bites (thankfully she got 0), or because I’m just in love with the simplicity of our outfits and that gorgeous Russian tree! I know we usually wear lots of bright colors and crazy patterns, but once in awhile I like to tone it down a bit and wear simple solids and stripes and neutrals. My maxi dress is seriously one of those that you can live or sleep in, and I don’t have to wear my Spanx when I wear it, so that’s a plus. And that Fawn Design bag? Well it really just go with any outfit! Vivian’s dress is from the adorable kid’s shop Cuteheads and I just love how dressy, yet simple, and classic it is. It’s one that she could wear for a wedding, or a special occasion, yet it’s cute for play as well. I don’t know why, but Vivian actually doesn’t have too many dressy outfits in her wardrobe and that will probably change with the holidays coming up soon.
