The hunt for Sperry Duck Boots

So if anybody lives in Utah, you know that these photos were taken a couple weeks ago. I don’t know what’s going on, but before moving to Utah, I figured we’d have a blizzard every week. Not that I am complaining, the 50 degree weather is pretty nice right now, but I had just prepared for some nasty winters here. There I did it, I just jinxed our whole state and the worst is probably yet to come for us! But anyhow, if and when it does come snowing down on us, I am prepared with my very first pair of Sperry Duck Boots. Last year, I actually bought a couple pairs from J.Crew, but returned them all. I just wasn’t in to the style or the colors I got. But recently, I saw Always Maylee rock this tan and hot pink pair and I was SOLD! It was one of those things where I searched high and low online and couldn’t find the hot pink pair. I ended up calling a store and then sending them on a hunt for me for this exact pair in my size. Finally, there was like one pair left in the whole company in a store in Virginia and I had them shipped to me. Am I the only one that gets crazy obsessed over things and does ANYTHING to make it happen? I’ve totally done this before for a J.Crew coat and some Target boots… Anyhow, Winter, I am ready for you, although wouldn’t mind too much if you stayed warm and didn’t snow all too much. 😉
