So my favorite store ever just got better. Right now, if you purchase the December issues of InStyle and People StyleWatch magazines at Target (in the same transaction), you’ll get a $5 gift card, which pretty much translates to ~~more shopping at Target~~ a free magazine! This deal is good from 11/29 – 12/7. People InStyle has a lot of great celebrity fashion inspiration, gift guides, shopping on a budget, and it really fits well with my style. You can even send in your own outfits as well to feature, maybe I’ll do this when I have some free time. 😉 And InStyle magazine I feel is a little bit more high fashion with some more expensive looks, and it’s got some great hair and makeup inspiration as well. After a pretty rough weekend with the toddler, there’s nothing quite like catching up on fashion while sitting in bed as a way to decompress and relax. It’s a nice change a pace to just read some magazines and get fashion inspiration instead of sitting on my computer reading fashion blogs. And you want to know what the trend is this upcoming season… sequins, embellishments, sparkly goodness (fits right in with holiday season)!

Here’s an outfit from People StyleWatch that I could totally see myself wearing… since I pretty much already owned a similar sweatshirt. I’ve styled it before on this blog in a casual way, but I like how it inspired me to style it for work as well. Instead of sparkly flats, I got some inspiration from InStyle that said Parisian style flats were in, so wore my flats in that style. I decided to give it a shot and here’s what I came up with!
