We just spent the past weekend in San Francisco for a friend’s wedding and it was amazing! My husband and I went just the 2 of us and it was a nice little getaway from our little man, but we did miss him dearly. The weather there was similar to that of Kansas City, where it’s a nice and a little chilly in the daytime and getting quite chilly at nights, which calls for layering of pieces when putting together outfits! This outfit was something I styled the other day and it’s one of my recent faves. Lace, chambray, polka dots, and plaid flannel… it’s got a lot of textures and patterns to it but I think it all pairs together quite nicely! I love the idea of wearing cardigans over a chambray top while leaving it unbuttoned so a cami/tank underneath shows through. Then throwing on a scarf, leggings and booties to keep warm for the chilly temps!
Oops, just realized I wore this same chambray top in my last post, just goes to show that I am making good use of this piece in my closet! 🙂 And seriously, I can’t get enough of my boots and wearing them with skinny jeans and leggings. I love the neutral color of them and how they can work with black AND brown. 🙂
