As you know, last weekend was the Kansas City Fashion Week Spring 2013 event. This is only the second fashion show of theirs I have attended and it was just so much fun. It’s so inspiring looking at new designs and cheering on local designers. I was only able to attend the Friday night charity event but I’ve been watching the Kansas City Fashion Week facebook page like a hawk for the updates on the other day’s designs! Here’s a look at some of my favorites from the entire event!!
Courtney Perry’s House of Cochon has some bold statement jewelry with a lot of color! And Amanda Clark of idesignwithlove has an edgy chic rocker look with her clothing.
I loved the subtle patterns and colors of Katie McKenna of Pink Sheep Heiress designs. Shoutout to my girl Jollene who is the leader of the pack in this photo! 🙂
Tracy McClain of Trajet Jewelry had the perfect every day jewelry that every girl would want. And Blue Bird Apparel – Anna Friss models came down with black balloons to pair well with their whimsical dark and edgy designs!
Emma Lammers mid century moderns were some of my faves, especially b/c the models carried oversized handbags – I want them all!
Friday night ended with some menswear by christianMICHEAL – Christian Shuster
Here are the Kansas City Bloggers that attended the Friday night event – it was so fun hanging out with you girls!!
Saturday morning was the Blush Bridal event. This Janay A. Handmade – Janay Andrews dress would be just perfect for a reception dress! And if I could do my wedding all over again, I would probably want to wear this Katie Lee – Kate Nikols!
Saturday night continued with Conjetta – Connie Bourgeois, I love the vintage florals in this top paired against sleep leather! BMDesigns – Brittany Davidson made this GORGEOUS dress.
This kids are way too adorable in Fit for a Princess – Becky Robbins.
My favorite from the Sunday event is Yan by Hannah Cusack. Look at all the color, the patterns, I want to BUY now! 😉
I’m so proud that Kansas City can have such events like these. It’s like getting a little taste of NYFW or PFW in my own little town!
