As I am in the middle of cleaning out my closet, it pains me to have to sell/donate some of my clothes because I just know that one day the trends of now will come back around and be “in” again. It really makes me wish I could save everything I’ve ever bought and worn, to eventually be passed down to my future daughters (no, I’m not preggos) so that they wouldn’t have to buy a thing. 😉 Although knowing any offspring of mine, I’m sure they’ll probably be obsessed with shopping or perhaps 10 times worse than their Mama, yikes. I’m already seeing the shoe obsession in my 1 year old niece and it’s probably b/c she has got my genes.
This post is all about fringe. I’ve got fringe on my boots and fringe on my bag. I don’t know what it is about it that I love so much, but somehow I keep gravitating towards it. Perhaps the fact that it makes spinning around in circles more fun or the fact that it looks like stripes (which are totally in) or the fact that it reminds me of a Bohemian free spirited style or the fact that it reminds me of one of the most awesome pictures of myself taken from my childhood.
This outfit was worn 20 years ago and it’s got so elements of fashion that could work for 2013… colored pants, floral jacket, fringe detail, side half ponytail (I kid, I kid). Like I said earlier, I wish I could keep all the clothes I’ve ever bought and worn! And wow, my outfit pic post hasn’t even changed from 20 years ago, I still do the little bend in my left foot thing HA!
