So Summer totally used to be my favorite season… until I started living in Missouri and working.  Growing up, Michigan summers were always beautiful.  The weather lingered around the 70-90s and rarely got up to 100.  And summer also meant a break from school.  A long break.  Why can’t we get summer breaks at work?  I think we should start a petition for it.  Who’s with me?

This outfit is probably my favorite work appropriate outfit of the summer season so far.  It’s got pattern mixing, a knee length pencil skirt, fun heels and the most popular bubble necklace of the moment.  Call me crazy, I actually really like the sound of the metal clanging against metal on the necklace as I walk from cubicle to conference room.  Makes me feel important and heard.  😉
