{MEET THE SHOP}

1) Tell us a little bit about how the shop got started?
Asian iCandy started as helping selling a Chinese indie fashion brand – Rip studio back in 2007. Rip designs really unique Asian folk inspired clothing and soon we had the success of many loyal customers. We then gradually added more indie designers from Asia in our shop: Artka, Miya etc. These talented designers are hardly known in the western world because of language barrier and limited budgeting. Our mission today is still helping promoting indie designers and bringing our customers fresh and unique fashion.

2) What sets your shop apart from other online boutiques?
I think the variety of our styles makes us distinguish from other online boutiques – we carry Asian folk, Japanese/Korean fashion and indie trendy style. We also pride ourselves in carrying many handmade, independently designed, one-of-a-kind items along with affordable fashions not commonly found.

3) What are your top 3 favorite fashion trends right now?
hi-low hem dress/skirt – it’s playful but still classy
flat sandals – in trend and comfortable!
denim short – a must have for this summer
