Remember these bad boys? (I’m referring to the shoes.) Well, they are my fave pair of neutral cage shoes and I just love them. {MEET SAMMY}

1) Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you started your business?
Shoes are pretty much the family business. I have a passion for the internet, and decided to move the business online. I believe in low prices and customer satisfaction. I decided if I could pull the volume online, this would enable me to stay true to both of these points. It’s really fun, but a tad bit annoying when different style shoes don’t run true to size. Shoetopia.com was born in July of 2011 and is almost 1 year old. It has been going smoothly for the most part. There are also some extremely interesting changes+expansion planned for the near future (Fall 2012).

2) What makes your shop different from other online shoe shops?
At the moment, I believe our price points. The goal is to price products as low as possible. A tough decision for this was not offering free shipping. My reasoning behind it was that it didn’t make much sense to take a flat and price it at $22.99 and hide behind ‘free shipping’. This would work out well for me in the long run, because customers on the west coast of the U.S.A. would in fact be overpaying for their shoes. It was decided to use the ‘true-to-cost’ method. During checkout, you get a shipping quote based on the weight of your total order. This way, customers pay what they are supposed to and we can still offer our low base-price. Hopefully this is a win-win situation for all.

Aside from the shipping, which is a pretty boring explanation, I believe in great customer service. Shoetopia.com is trying hard to provide the best customer service while providing customers with low prices. (If there are any suggestions on improving, please let us know!) It really is our goal to Make your smiles start from the toes up!

3) What do consider as a must have shoe (flats, black pumps, nude wedge)?
A must-have would have to be basic flats. The best thing about flats is you can just throw them on and move on with your day. Casual pants, jeans, a skirt… they work with them all. You can have a couple different colors and switch them up.

4) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Rocky road :-).
